Springline (n.) The line where an arch rises from its supports. The point where structure starts carrying load.
We’re a small team of senior software and AI engineers. We find the manual work slowing your business down, then replace it with systems that are built properly, measured, and yours to keep.
Why we exist
Most growing businesses run on a few people who know how everything works, and a lot of copying between systems. We find that work, engineer it out, and give your best people their time back.
Selected work
20 systems across 10 industries. Every system is real, and every result is one we measured.
What we do
Most of the value is in unglamorous work done properly: the integration, the edge cases, the checks. We use AI where it’s the best tool for the job, and not where it isn’t.
The jobs your team does by copying data from one place to another. Invoices, dockets, approvals, timesheets and the weekly report.
How we work
The same process whether it’s one workflow or the whole back office. You always know what’s being built, why, and what it’s worth.
You tell us how the business runs and where the time goes. We ask a lot of questions. No pitch deck, no obligation.
We map the workflows, pick the ones worth automating, and agree in writing what gets built, how it plugs in, and how success is measured.
Senior engineers build it inside the tools you already use. You see working software early and often, not a big reveal at the end.
Tested, monitored and documented, running in accounts you own. We measure it against the baseline and stay on if you want us to.
You own it
The code, the data and the accounts are in your name from day one.
People stay in the loop
Anything uncertain goes to a person. Nothing is guessed.
Measured, not promised
A baseline before, the numbers after, and the working shown.
Built to last
Tests, logging, monitoring and a runbook, so it keeps working after we leave.
About us
We’re software and AI engineers who came up inside construction, engineering and operations businesses before we built software for them. Between us we’ve priced tenders, drafted subdivisions, run payroll and built a fifteen-person business from nothing.
So the first conversation doesn’t start with you explaining what a purchase order is. You deal directly with the engineers building your system: no account managers, no offshore hand-offs, no layer between what you say and what gets built.
Who we work with
Any industry. If your business moves physical things, people or paperwork, we’ll probably recognise the problem.

Start a project
Two minutes. No sales call to book, no deck. Just what the work is and who’s doing it.
Within a day
We read it properly and reply, usually with a few questions about how the work runs today.
A conversation
Thirty minutes with the engineers who would build it. If it’s not worth doing, we’ll say so.
A written scope
What gets built, how it plugs in, how we’ll measure it, and when it’s done.
